Can I get a new blue UK passport?
Her Majesty’s Passport Office began issuing the new, blue British passports in mid-2020, meaning that any new passport now issued will be in the new color and style.
Many British citizens are concerned about the fact that they still have the old style, burgundy passports and worry that they will not be allowed to travel on these documents.
The good news is that as long as your passport is valid and not older than 10 years, you will still be able to travel without a problem on your old, burgundy passport and it is still an approved and official travel document.
